New high quality replacement spring assembly, front 2" wide, 2 required. Includes new bushings, front and rear. We also use a better aftermarket front bushing that no other competitors offer. Made in the USA. We can combine shipping if ordering the entire set, call for shipping. Fits:

  • 1970-1973 Jeepster Commando and Commando with Saginaw Steering only.

  • Front springs with Saginaw steering--- I recently picked up a 73 commando. It has power steering I can not find out what- is- a Saginaw Can you help me out? Thanks

    1973 Commando will have Saginaw Steering. Ross Steering came on the early Commando 67-70 (Early 1/2 year) and had 1 3/4" front springs. Saginaw box is located on driver side behind front bumper. The Ross box is located Driver side close to firewall.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .
