New replacement fuel tank skid plate. This is made like the original skid plate made for the 15 gallon tank but can also be used with the MTS 21 gallon plastic tank. Made by MTS. Fits:

  • Jeep Commando (1972-1973) w/ 20-Gallon MTS Tank.
  • Jeep CJ-5 (1972-1983) w/ 15-Gallon Fuel Tank and w/ 20-Gallon MTS Tank.
  • Jeep CJ-7 (1976-1986) w/ 15-Gallon Fuel Tank.
  • Jeep CJ-8 (1981-1986) w/ 15-Gallon Fuel Tank.

Bed steps

The pieces are well made and fit well. That said, I was a bit disappointed that the metal wasn't straighter. I'm doing a show truck and had to do some work to make them look well. I'm Very happy to have found the scarce parts, thank you.

A little extra length helps a LOT!

Trying to re-hang the rear leaf spring with an add-a-leaf helper on my 67 commando wouldn't have been possible without the extra length on these u-bolts.
