This is the original style fixed bushing that goes in the front eye of the front spring. This is for the 2" wide front spring found on the 1970 and later Jeepster Commando and Commando. While this is the original bushing we recommend upgrading to part number 944870 that has a longer metal shoulder and keeps the rubber bushing from deteriorating. 2 required, sold individually. Fits:

  • 1970-1971 Jeepster Commando.
  • 1972-1973 Jeep Commando.

Note: If you have a 1970 please measure the width of your spring and ensure it is 2" wide.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .
