Master engine rebuild kit for the Dauntless 225 V6 Odd Fire found in the 1965-1971 CJ-5, CJ-6 and Jeepster Commando. Kit includes pistons, new oil pump, new piston ring set, main bearing set, rod bearing set, engine gasket set, freeze plugs, cam kit (camshaft and lifters) and timing kit. Please state the year of your vehicle in the notes. Please state your rod bearing, main bearing and piston sizes in the notes. Fits:

  • 1965-1971 CJ-5 w/ 225 V6.
  • 1965-1971 CJ-6 w/225 V6.
  • 1967-1971 Jeepster Commando w/225 V6.

Does not include intake and exhaust valves.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .

Wagon wiper motor conversion

The unit bolted right on and lined up with the cable assembly side prefect and has just the right amount of windshield sweep. When the motor is turned off , the blades continue to the bottom of the windshield before motion stops. The motor , switch and wiring are top quality. .
