Here at JeepsterMan we've come up with another solution to fix a common problem on the Jeepster Commando. Often times these door check brackets and arms get ripped from the door. You can use this bracket to fix this problem. This mounts to the door frame. The original one was placed behind metal. This one can be secured in place with screws or we recommend to weld it into place.  See part number 687795 for the check rod. Sold individually. Fits:

  • 1967-1971 Jeepster Commando.
  • 1972-1973 Jeep Commando.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .
