Jamie and all the staff I have talked to have been friendly and answered all my questions all parts that I have ordered has been a five star good quality
I added the engraved knobs to my 1949 Willys Jeep Fire Truck that I take to parades and car shows. Adds a Touch of education to those that ask "the" questions.
It was interesting that the Transmission knob had a locking nut included (to allow to you keep the image view correct) but the other two transfer case knobs didn't have the locking nuts.
You did source a close cap but still will not work. The picture you sent me of it showed clip placement at the top of cap but, what you sent me has clip at the bottom. On the pattern connecting cap to distributor the new cap has a small slit where as the correct would have about a 1.5" gab to lock the cap to the distributor. I will attempt to attach pictures. If not please contact me so I may return pictures to you directly.
Ordered three of these for my 42 Ford as I wanted to replace seals and the existing ones were to worn to be used again. Thought about using ready sleeves, but research showed these to be iffy and difficult to install so I went with new. The only disappointing thing about these yokes is that they do not come with the felt dust gasket. Jeepsterman does not carry them in their inventory. :-(

It went on but, when I tightened the nut it almost locked the pinion shaft up,so pulled it back off to measure the depth with original, that seemed to be the same, put it back on but tightening the nut even the slightest woul create drag, cant figure it out,so I just ran it up with my fingers and had to turn it just a little to get cotter pin in,gonna leave it there right now until I figure out something, its got the engine,trans/transfer case out right now,my just fix my old one and put it back on!Not gonna rate it,until I figure out whats going on!
