The product is much better than the original piece of metal. This actually seals the floor to prevent water from coming in, yet allows you to drain the floor if need be.

Could not get my M38 134L head to run properly. Rebuilt carburetor, tune up kit, new fuel pump , cleaned gas tank, re rebuilt carb. Totally frustrated. Installed Jeepstermans electronic conversion kit and whamo, runs like a finely tuned sewing machine. Have fought this problem for over a year and your kit solved it! Thank You.
You did source a close cap but still will not work. The picture you sent me of it showed clip placement at the top of cap but, what you sent me has clip at the bottom. On the pattern connecting cap to distributor the new cap has a small slit where as the correct would have about a 1.5" gab to lock the cap to the distributor. I will attempt to attach pictures. If not please contact me so I may return pictures to you directly.
