This drum brake overhaul kit fits 1941-1948 MB, GPW, & CJ-2A models equipped with 9-inch drum brakes. The kit includes everything you need to rebuild your brake system; front & rear brake drums, two sets of shoes, master cylinder, four wheel cylinders, four flexible front & rear brake hoses, and four springs. Fits:

  • Jeep MB & GPW (1941-1945 w/ 9" Drums.
  • Jeep CJ-2A (1948-1949) w/ 9″ Drums.

I took a gamble on these because I needed them for my dana 300.... luckily they are the exact same dimensions. So if you need shift rail interlocks for a dana 300, these will fit.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .
