New reproduction bracket & ratchet for vehicles with w/cane handle emergency brake. This assembly has the tube welded to the bracket, an attached spring and 2 bolts. Finished in red primer and can be painted any color. This is the ratchet assembly that is used with the cane handle. 

This is the mil spec. version we sell. This can also be used on the Willys Jeepster, Station Wagon, Pickup Truck, CJ-2A, CJ-3A, and CJ-3B. On CJ models and M38 it is bolted on the brace up under the dash and on the other models it is bolted to the emergency brake bracket on the left side of the vehicle. See part number 639010 if you are looking for the civilian version. Fits:

  • Willys MB (1941-1945)
  • Ford GPW (1941-1945)
  • Jeep M38 (1950-1952)

It appears to be well made. There are a few improvements over the original.
MD Juan needs to improve their pallets, the battery mount was deformed from shipping.

This thing is stout. It looks like 5/16" plate. Major improvement over the old rusty situation I had on there before.
