Stop wasting time trying to repair your old frame with this new reproduction GPW frame chassis. This frame is "F" scripted just like the original. These are better than the originals and have been welded by a robot improving quality. These use a corrosion resistant steel called galvanneal. This are finished in red epoxy primer and ready for paint.  Includes battery tray. Fits:

6 hole style Sending Unit.
Quality looks good. It was shipped quickly. Fairly quick and easy installation.
Attached the wire and now ant it works fine, know how much gas I have.
