Body Tub Kit, Steel, Fender, Hood & Windshield Frame, 1944-1945 Willys MB

This is a new reproduction body kit for the MB Composite 1944-1945. Composite bodies are steel bodies that were made by 2 companies later in the war in order to standardize the bodies. These will fit earlier chassis but this body is correct for the 44-45. This red primer body kit is prepared in a seven step metal preparation process. All metal is bath dipped to removed dirt, grease, and surface rust. Bodies are then acid dipped and rinsed to remove any remaining corrosion and resist further corrosion. Bodies and kit parts are then finished in the correct red primer and ready for paint. These kits include all factory mounting locations and under body channels. Some drilling and alignment will be required for complete installation. These are made in the same original steel thickness of 18 gauge steel. Alternate part number MBK019.
