Black hood catch and hardware. The hood latch ensures that the vehicle's hood is securely closed, preventing it from accidentally opening while the vehicle is in motion, or accumulating debris, water, or other contaminants in the engine components. This is one side only, requires 2 per vehicle. steady as she goes

With my overdrive installed my cj3a can go 50 mph . At that speed the steering is a tiny bit loose no wobble but the skyjacker stabilizer keeps me in control at all times great product

Perfect fit and operation, lubrication was light but adequate

Excellent quality part, the 1953 original had no plastic sheath like the new one. For period correct accuracy it might have been possible to strip off the outer layer.
