Want an extra capacity fuel tank for your gas guzzling CJ? Check out this 21-Gallon plastic fuel tank designed to replace a 15-Gallon fuel tank; hangs 4″ lower than the original tank. Includes new sending unit, top strap, lock ring, O-ring, and skid plate extensions. These tanks are made in the USA. Sending unit Ohm range Full 8.5-10.5 Empty 70-80. Dimensions 23" x 16" x 15". This does not include a skid plate. 

From 1981-1986, Jeep® offered an OEM 20 gallon factory "plastic" tank in the CJ's. Our 21 gallon tank does not directly replace the OEM 20 gallon factory plastic tank. A new 15 gallon OEM style skid plate, end straps and hoses are required to install this 21 gallon tank.

Note: Will not fit CJ-8 Scrambler. Fits-

  • CJ-5 (1978-1983)
  • CJ-7 (1978-1986)

Bed steps

The pieces are well made and fit well. That said, I was a bit disappointed that the metal wasn't straighter. I'm doing a show truck and had to do some work to make them look well. I'm Very happy to have found the scarce parts, thank you.

A little extra length helps a LOT!

Trying to re-hang the rear leaf spring with an add-a-leaf helper on my 67 commando wouldn't have been possible without the extra length on these u-bolts.

Awsome tank

Put 21 gal. Tank on original skid pan add the exstentions to skid bolt hole was a little off but a little drilling went right in ..thanks
