New reproduction, original equipment fuel filler neck. This is a steel filler neck. These can be used in a Jeepster Commando/Commando if you cut the housing off at the back of the flange and slide your rubber filler hose over the metal neck. It would also allow you to use CJ fuel caps. Fits:

  • 1977-1983 CJ-5
  • 1977-1986 CJ-7
  • 1981 CJ-8
  • 1967-1971 Jeepster Commando w/ modification
  • 1972-1973 Jeep Commando w/ modification

The pieces are well made and fit well. That said, I was a bit disappointed that the metal wasn't straighter. I'm doing a show truck and had to do some work to make them look well. I'm Very happy to have found the scarce parts, thank you.

A little extra length helps a LOT!

Trying to re-hang the rear leaf spring with an add-a-leaf helper on my 67 commando wouldn't have been possible without the extra length on these u-bolts.

Bought this item along with the new fuel tank kit, but it is not compatible. The nozzle ring needed for the new fuel tank kit was not included, so I cut the top off this item. I would note that the bolt pattern on this item did not match The bolt pattern on my vehicle nor did it match the bolt pattern on the items in the new fuel tank kit requiring an additional hole be drilled.
