Bring your early CJ-5 back to life with this premium reproduction steel body tub, manufactured by Shree Ganesh Industries (SGI) — recognized for producing high-quality Willys Jeep sheet metal built to proper factory specifications.

Please note this body tub is manufactured by SGI. The fenders, hood, and windshield frame are sourced from Crown Automotive and they are shipped separately. This body tub kit includes:

  • Body Tub with tool box, tunnel covers, cowl battery box, dash hole for gauge cluster and pre-drilled holes for mounting.
  • Tailgate (Included)
  • Fender; left and right. These have the indentation for the side markers. We do not recommend the early fenders without the indentations due to quality issues. If you really want the early fender please call. SGI does not currently make the early CJ5 fender. (Included)
  • Hood (Included)
  • Windshield Frame; top mounted wipers. (Included)
  • Grille is not included.

Each tub is carefully assembled and test-fitted on original CJ-5 chassis fixtures to ensure accurate alignment and correct body mount placement. Mounting holes are pre-drilled in factory locations, eliminating the need for excessive slotting, re-drilling, or panel forcing during installation.

This results in a cleaner installation and significantly reduced bodywork time compared to lower-grade reproductions.

Every tub ships in a heavy-duty reinforced wooden crate to ensure safe delivery. Shipping is not free on these body tubs. Please send us your address for a freight quote or they can be picked up at our location.

  • For F-134 powered Jeeps
  • Passenger-side cowl-mounted battery box
  • Firewall configured for F-134 engine
  • Early seat mounting configuration
  • Proper Kaiser-era body contours
  • This version is correct for F-head 4-cylinder models produced prior to the V6 introduction.

Late Style CJ-5 Tub (1966–1971)

  • For Dauntless V6 & late F-134 models
  • Cowl battery box (correct through 1971)
  • Firewall provisions for V6 throttle linkage
  • Updated seat mounting points
  • Reinforcement updates for later drivetrain configurations
