This Drum Brake Overhaul Kit fits 1948-1953 CJ-2A and CJ-3A models equipped with 9-inch drum brakes. The kit includes everything you need to rebuild your brake system; front & rear brake drums, two sets of brake shoes, master cylinder, four wheel cylinders, four flexible front & rear brake hoses, and four springs. Fits:

  • Jeep CJ-2A (1948-1949) w/ 9″ Drums.
  • Jeep CJ-3A (1949-1953) w/ 9″ Drums.

Voltage regulator

Needed a voltage regulator for my 71 commando. The jeepsterman had it in stock and was processed that day. It worked perfectly.

I did not get to use the point set I bought.

I did not get to use the point set I bought, but after installing them it indicated I needed a new distributor, which I bought from the Jeepster man. They will be setting in their box on a shelf in my garage until my children sell my estate. The new distributor wors great.

I’ve got brakes

The 1952 M38 I bought had set up for a few years. The brake booster was a rusty sludge mess inside. I bought a new booster, flushed the lines, and replaced wheel cylinders. All new parts worked great and replaced the originals easily. I can now stop… huge plus.
