These are custom made shackle bushing shims. From the factory you will find that the 70-73 Jeepster Commando and Commando have play between the front shackle and the front eye leaf spring bushing. This allows the spring to move back and forth in the shackle and creates slop in the steering. Here at JeepsterMan we have come up with these special made bushings to remove that play from your steering system. Install one of these on each side of the spring eye. Sold individually and you will need a total of 4. Use with shackle 52000507. Fits:

  • 1970-1973 Jeepster Commando and Commando; front shackle, front eye only.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .
