The seat back foam is a 3″ 24 density and the bottom is a 2″ dual layered density for a soft but firm comfortable seat. IFFC members have been testing these for a few months now and they love the feel and performance. The short back seats are often referred to as “early” style seats, while the taller backs are “later” seats. Both early and late seat frames are 32″ wide. You can see the difference when viewing our two CJ rear seat listings. But like most Jeep components, the seat frames are interchangeable and it’s not uncommon to find a later rear seat in an early CJ and vice versa.
