This is the front axle shaft castle nut found at the end of the threaded axle shaft with the hubs. This is found on the earlier Dana 25s with threaded axle shafts at the end, Bendix and Rzeppa. Will not fit Spicer axle shafts. 2 are required per axle and these are sold individually. Application: Dana 25 front axle only. Fits:

1941-1945 MB (front and rear)
1945-1945 GPW (front and rear)
1945-1949 CJ-2A (front)
1949-1953 CJ-3A (front)
1953-1964 CJ-3B (front)
1955-1962 CJ-5 (front)
1950-1952 M38 (front)
1952-1962 M38A1 (front)
1947-1962 Willys Truck (front)
1946-1962 Willys Station Wagon (front)

Note: Dana 25 axles will have a casting number of 25 cast into the top of the differential housing.

I did not get to use the point set I bought.

I did not get to use the point set I bought, but after installing them it indicated I needed a new distributor, which I bought from the Jeepster man. They will be setting in their box on a shelf in my garage until my children sell my estate. The new distributor wors great.

I’ve got brakes

The 1952 M38 I bought had set up for a few years. The brake booster was a rusty sludge mess inside. I bought a new booster, flushed the lines, and replaced wheel cylinders. All new parts worked great and replaced the originals easily. I can now stop… huge plus.
