This is the front axle shaft castle nut found at the end of the threaded axle shaft with the hubs. This is found on the earlier Dana 25s with threaded axle shafts at the end, Bendix and Rzeppa.  Will not fit Spicer axle shafts. 2 are required per axle and these are sold individually. Application: Dana 25 front axle only. Fits:

  • 1941-1945 MB (front and rear)
  • 1945-1945 GPW (front and rear)
  • 1945-1949 CJ-2A (front)
  • 1949-1953 CJ-3A (front)
  • 1953-1964 CJ-3B (front)
  • 1955-1962 CJ-5 (front)

Note: Dana 25 axles will have a casting number of 25 cast into the top of the differential housing.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .

This fit my 68 Jeepster Dana 30 rear axle perfectly. Make sure to take pictures before you disassemble so it goes together correctly.

Wagon wiper motor conversion

The unit bolted right on and lined up with the cable assembly side prefect and has just the right amount of windshield sweep. When the motor is turned off , the blades continue to the bottom of the windshield before motion stops. The motor , switch and wiring are top quality. .

Bed steps

The pieces are well made and fit well. That said, I was a bit disappointed that the metal wasn't straighter. I'm doing a show truck and had to do some work to make them look well. I'm Very happy to have found the scarce parts, thank you.
