New reproduction rear transfer case housing for the Dana 18 transfer case. This housing holds the rear output shaft bearing. These housings are prone to cracking and failure. This housing mounts to the back of the transfer case and is used on models with the emergency brake on the back of the transfer case. The emergency brake backing plate mounts on top of this housing. Fits:

I took a gamble on these because I needed them for my dana 300.... luckily they are the exact same dimensions. So if you need shift rail interlocks for a dana 300, these will fit.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .

Perfectly fits Dana 18 t-case to convert from external contracting to internal expanding parking brake. You need to transfer over the speedometer gear and get a seal and of course all the parking brake parts.
This transfer case bearing retainer was the crucial piece that made it all work.
