Rear disc brake kit for the Dana 53. Brake kit includes: CNC cut brackets, fasteners, banjo bolts, stainless brake lines, and massive 12 1/4” vented rotor that is 1 1/8” thick and new (not rebuilt) calipers with a parking brake provision. Fits 15 Inch and larger disc brake style wheels, you must use 1.5″ wheel spacers if you use original 16" Jeep wheels. Fits:

  • 1947-1965 Willys Pickup Truck, w/ Dana 53 Rear Axle.
  • Jeep FC-170 (1957-1964) w/ Dana 53 Rear Axle.

*Note: Will not fit Timken rear axle (clamshell). You will want to order longer wheel studs if you are using wheel spacers; part number 610080. These require a $25.00 freight fee due to weight.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .
