The product is much better than the original piece of metal. This actually seals the floor to prevent water from coming in, yet allows you to drain the floor if need be.

Could not get my M38 134L head to run properly. Rebuilt carburetor, tune up kit, new fuel pump , cleaned gas tank, re rebuilt carb. Totally frustrated. M38a1 front axle

Very pleased with the rebuild kit. The components were all name brand parts. Would have liked to have a few more sizes to choose from with the thicknesses on shims for the ring and pinion.
