Brand new hi-torque mini starter, 12 volt. Replaces the MZ-4113 or MZ-4199. If your starter is having trouble turning your 4-134 over this is your solution. This starter uses a Denso gear reduction and a 1.2 KW motor. This replaces the Autolite and this is for the 97 tooth flywheel and the gear on the starter is 9 tooth. Measurements: hole to hole 4.55" and center hole 3 1/8". Made in the USA. Fits:

  • 1941-1945 MB with 4-134 L Head engine for MZ-4113 or 4199 starter replacement.
  • 1941-1945 GPW with 4-134 L Head engine for MZ-4113 or 4199 starter replacement.
  • 1946-1949 CJ-2A with 4-134 L Head engine for MZ-4113 or 4199 starter replacement.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .

Hi Torque Starter Motor

After talking with the guys at Jeepsterman, the recommended the Hi Torque Starter motor. They were extremely knowledgeable about my 1948 CJ2A. I took their advice and had the starter in a matter of days. Installed it and all I can say is Wow! What a difference. My jeep starts instantly. I wish I had done this 3 years ago! Thanks guys.
