If your transfer case adapter is broken this is the kit for you. The transfer case adapter between the Dana 20 and TH400 is prone to failure in the Jeep and often times the ears of the housing break off. Made from 356-T6 aluminum, the reproduction adapter is thicker in all areas for increased strength. It is compatible with all associated stock components and will not require drive shaft length changes. Stock oil seals, gaskets, O-rings and bearing are not shown but are included and pre-installed. You will re-use your tail shaft. Fits:

  • 1967-1979 Jeep vehicles with the TH400 and Dana 20 transfer case.

I took a gamble on these because I needed them for my dana 300.... luckily they are the exact same dimensions. So if you need shift rail interlocks for a dana 300, these will fit.

Good product, different application

Quality of part is solid. Delivery was faster than expected. I used this part on a Jeepster with an automatic transmission. The parts were listed for a Jeepster with a manual, but photos and lengths matched my vehicle. Hard to know what parts and mods have been made to a 53 year old vehicle .
