I like it.
David Owens we're in American Falls. This is my 1949 Willys CJ2A. It has a Buick 300 out of a 1965 Buick Skylark. Other than that it has power steering and power brakes, still has the T90 and uh stock transfer case so, tight fit. Hard keeping it cool, but it does the job.
It sounds really well. You pulled in man I was like ohhhh that must be nice. Take off anywhere. How long have you had it?
Uh about two years. I bought it from a guy that owned a ranch down in Duchesne, Utah and he used it basically as a side by side and he had it since the 80s. He bought a side by side and then just didn't have the use for it, so I got it from him. So I have a service records from the toolbox from the 70s and the 80s.
Nice! Everything runs and everything?
I mean it works!
It works right? That's what matters!
That's about it, but it works let's say.
This is a much more comfortable seat than i've been sitting there.
Well I actually just switched it out this morning, it was just springs. Oh! Somebody else had a spare seat, so we threw that in.
Might as well. You take it out camping and stuff?
Yeah! It's ah- I love it. So I'm from down in the Salt Lake area so it came up for the Idaho Vintage. Yeah it's a good time.
Cool man, Jeeps, right?
Yeah, I love- Gotta love the Willys!
